About Us and Our Mission:

Sail To Prevail creates opportunities for disabled children and adults to overcome adversity through therapeutic sailing. We are proud of our 30-year history, in which we have served more than 15,000 disabled individuals.

Disabled (Adaptive) Sailing in Newport, RI:

Each summer, approximately 1,000 people sail with us – disabled children, adults and veterans learn the skills of sailing in our fleet of specially adapted sailboats. In addition to the immediate joy and gratification that sailing provides, these individuals gain life-changing, universal skills in self-confidence, teamwork and leadership, which help them overcome challenges in other areas of their daily lives.
